هنأ الدكتور أحمد المنشاوي رئيس جامعة أسيوط؛الطالب نور الدين محمد زكي، بالفرقة الثانية بكلية علوم الرياضة، وأحد أبطال المشروع القومي للموهبة، والبطل الأوليمبي، التابع لوزارة الشباب والرياضة؛ لحصوله على ثلاث ميداليات ذهبية في بطولة أفريقيا؛ لرفع الأثقال للشباب، والناشئين، التي أقيمت بكينيا خلال الفترة من 18 إلى 24 من نوفمبر 2024؛ حيث حقق اللاعب ذهبية الخطف، وذهبية الكلين، وذهبية المجموع، بمنافسات فئة وزن 67 كجم.
وأشاد رئيس الجامعة؛ بحرص الدولة على الاستمرار في تقديم الدعم الكامل للأبطال الرياضيين، وامتلاك مصر منتخبات قوية على مستوى الشباب، والناشئين، والقدرة على تحقيق نتائج مميزة في مختلف المحافل الدولية، مشيراً إلى أن بطولة أفريقيا تعد من أبرز المنافسات الرياضية على المستوى القاري، ويعد الفوز فيها إنجازًا كبيرًا يعكس المستوى المتميز للرياضة المصرية، مؤكداً على دعم إدارة الجامعة؛ للموهوبين في مختلف المجالات.

A student of”Assiut University athlete” won three gold medals at the African Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championship in Kenya

Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, congratulated student Noureddine Mohamed Zaki, in the second division of the Faculty of Physical Education, and one of the Champions of the National Talent Project and Olympic Champion, affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, for winning three gold medals at the African Weightlifting Championship for youth and juniors, held in Kenya during the period from November 18 to 24, 2024, where the player achieved gold snatch, gold overall, and gold total, in the 67 kg weight category competitions.
The president of the University praised the state’s keenness to continue to provide full support to sports champions, Egypt’s strong teams at the youth and junior levels, and the ability to achieve outstanding results in various international forums, pointing out that the African Championship is one of the most prominent sports competitions at the continental level, and winning it is a great achievement reflecting the outstanding level of Egyptian sports, stressing the university administration’s support for talented people in various fields.
